Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional hairstyling and hair care services.
- Use your creativity and originality to offer and promote a wide range of hair styling services.
- Conduct in-depth consultations to comprehend client needs and preferences.
- Contribute to our vibrant and inspiring environment and uphold our commitment to a superior client experience.
- Engage in regular training and development sessions to refine your skills and stay up-to-date with current trends.
- Help uphold the cleanliness of the salon, including workstations, communal areas, and tools. This will include but not limited to: washing and folding towels and capes, washing color bowls, organization of color bar and retail products, maintaining proper inventory with receptionists, dusting retail product shelves, sweeping, mopping, etc.
- Whenever needed, help answer phone calls and schedule clients in the computer appointment book.
Requirements
- Current and valid Texas cosmetology license.
- A portfolio that showcases your work, including, but not limited to, coloring, cutting, and styling. Examples of highlights, balayage, and smoothing services such as Brazilian Blowout or Keratin Treatment are highly preferred not required
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills, both in person and through telephone.
- A strong desire to learn and evolve as a stylist, including participating in training and workshops.
- Be a team player and be willing to accept feedback and learn from senior stylists.
- Be able to attend staff outings/team building activities throughout the year
- Ability to work flexible hours, including Saturdays.
